I never imagined when my sister decided to keep bees several years ago and offered me a jar of honey from her first harvest that I would become a beekeeper. Let alone be making a website telling you about my own shop!

I was so intrigued by the conversations we were having about bees and the taste of that honey! I asked for another jar of her delicious honey, and then another. Finally after one of my requests she kindly replied, “I think you should just get your own bees.”

FINE!

So I did.

I haven’t looked back and am only excited about what the future holds for The North Bee!

As of September 30th, 2020 I have officially retired from my 19 year career in medical manufacturing accounting and have entered the wonderful world of fulltime entrepreneur.
